As iti is known, Elon Musk was one of the co-founders of OpenAI, a nonprofit research organization focused on developing and promoting friendly AI for the benefit of humanity. However, he left the organization's board in 2018 due to concerns about potential conflicts of interest with his role as CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

Even after leaving the board, Elon Musk has continued to express interest in and support for OpenAI's work, particularly in the area of ensuring that advanced AI technologies are developed in a safe and beneficial manner. In addition, several of Musk's other ventures, such as Neuralink, are focused on developing technologies that could eventually contribute to the development of more advanced AI systems.
